Our Legacy
The roots of Mozumdar Temple trace back to the visionary endeavors of Akhoy Kumar Mozumdar, an Indian immigrant who arrived in the U.S. in 1903. Driven by a profound spiritual calling, Mozumdar embraced Christianity and dedicated his life to teaching and lecturing. In the 1920s, he acquired 100 acres of land in the San Bernardino Mountains, envisioning a sanctuary for spiritual retreat and communal gathering.
Our Architecture
The architectural splendor of Mozumdar Temple stands as a testament to the vision and dedication of its founder. Inspired by the iconic Taj Mahal, the temple's white marble structure radiates elegance and grace, providing a tranquil space for prayer, meditation, and cultural ceremonies.
